All booklets have instructions for the item on the cover plus several other items. Crochet and other needlework or crafts. Also a sheet of transfers.
Booklets are 8 pages, 5½” x 7” (folded). Transfer sheets are 29½” x 21½”. All are still in the original mailing envelopes addressed to my grandmother. Envelopes in worn condition, contents in good unused vintage condition.
Workbasket was started by a husband and wife team, John and Clara Tillotson from their kitchen table. The first issue came out in October 1935. An 8 page bulletin with step-by-step directions for lovely needlework.
Note: My grandmother probably never used these as she could not follow pattern instructions, that’s just not how her mind worked. However, she could crochet anything by just copying a finished piece. She did exquisite work.
